The Right Apex Isn't the Highest One. It's the One That Survives the Wind.

Barrier-island wind doesn't care what your carry number looked like on a calm range. At Peak Height Fit, every session maps your apex height and hang time against real crosswind and headwind loads, so the specs you leave with hold their shape on the course — not just on the monitor screen.

Every Club Fit Against Its Own Wind Window

A wedge and a driver don't fight the same air. We treat each club as its own apex-and-hang-time problem, tested against the crosswind and headwind loads you'll actually see off Broad Creek and the sound.

D

Driver Fitting

Loft, shaft, and head paired for a flight ceiling that carries clean through a building sea breeze instead of ballooning into it.

Why It Matters

A Flat Wind-Punched Flight vs. an Apex-Tuned Window

Most golfers fighting island wind respond by de-lofting everything and punching the ball low. That helps in a straight headwind, but it collapses your hang time and turns a normal crosswind into a big miss. A properly tuned apex height keeps the ball inside a repeatable window instead.

The Process

From First Swing to a Wind-Ready Spec in Four Stops

Baseline Capture

We log your current clubs first, in still air, so we know exactly what your apex and hang time look like before wind is introduced to the picture.

Wind-Loaded Testing

Every demo head and shaft is tested against simulated crosswind and headwind loads, not just a still-air number that never happens on the course.

Window Build-Out

We walk through the apex, hang time, and descent angle numbers together and lock in head, shaft, length, and lie/loft specs as a set.

Build & Verify

Clubs are built in-house and checked on our frequency and swing weight rig before you take them out to actually play wind.

In Their Words

Real Results From Real Wind Days

★★★★★

I'd been fighting a ballooning driver for two seasons on windy afternoons. The apex-height readout made it obvious why — too much spin, too little static loft for my attack angle.

★★★★★

Never thought about hang time as its own number before. My irons hold the green now even when the flag's tucked and the wind is up off the water.

★★★★★

Wedge fitting explained why my spin was falling off in a stiff breeze. New bounce and grind, and my up-and-downs are a completely different conversation now.
